I've spent nearly my entire life here, in this place I call home. While others have told me how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful area, I wasn't truly convinced until I traveled. I've seen some wonderful places, and I'm sure there are many more, but the Pacific Northwest always draws me back. My heart and memories reside here, amidst the dampness and shadows, under the pervasive gray skies that define the life of this region—from its basins and estuaries to its deserts, seas, and mountains.
